YOU ARE INVITED TO

BOBBY GREEN’S 77th BIRTHDAY BASH!

Known as Bobby Green, he is the sole beneficiary of the infamous Green Gold Rush inheritance discovered in the Sierra Foothills of Northern California. Bobby has two children, Sissy and Johnny. They are also the heirs to the fortune.  The Green family was known for their wealth, however they lived quite modestly.

Bobby Green was a man’s man, loved hunting and fishing and playing or watching sports.  He loved the ranch and caring for it was the joy of his life, other than his children. He was a lover of music, particularly 50’s and 60’s music. He was obsessed with Elvis and considered the 60’s the ‘good ole days’.

After his parents died in a horrible accident in California, Bobby was sent to Nashville to live near his only relative, his uncle. He attended and lived at Montgomery Boys Boarding School. Sadly, his uncle passed away two years later, leaving Bobby on his own until college.  In college he met the love of his life while playing volleyball, Karina Nelson.  The two were married within 6 months. Using his inheritance, Bobby purchased a ranch in an area called Hillsboro (now known as Leiper’s Fork) and there he and Karina began their life together.  Sadly, seven years later, Karina died giving birth to their 3rd child.  The child also did not survive.  Sissy was 5 and Johnny wasn’t even 1.

Bobby Green made it very clear that he would never marry again and has no interest in marriage at this stage of his life.  He’s turning 77 years old.  He is set in his ways and likes having a woman visit, AND LEAVE.

Meet the cast - The Suspects

MISS SCARLET O’HARA
Singer and Animal Activist
Played by Erica Marie Hurley

Scarlett is new to the neighborhood.  She comes from a difficult background of foster care, moving from home to home, but she has made a name for herself in country music.  She just won Country Star Search and apparently the prize was $1M.

She has purchased a home two doors down from the ranch(CASH).  She likes to tell everyone CASH quite often.  She adores animals and was looking for a farm to work on.  When she stopped in one day to introduce herself, she and Johnny met and he recognized her from Yoga in the Fork.  When she told him she’s looking for a job caring for animals, he offered her a job on the spot.  Since his daddy, Bobby Green, broke his hip last year while hunting, Johnny has been having to do all of the upkeep and maintenance on the ranch while also taking care of all of the animals.  It’s just been way too much.  So he sees Ms. Scarlett as a Godsend.  Plus, she is mighty pretty.  Johnny feels his heart flutter every time she comes near.  Ms. Scarlett thinks Johnny is darling but she has one thing on her mind - her career.

MR. JOHNNY GREEN
Singer, Realtor and Property Manager
Played by Jason Warner

Johnny Green has recently gotten his real estate license after exploring the music industry for many years.  Johnny has recently spent a lot of time in the Amazon jungle where he has studied under shamans and believes in the healing properties of the earth.  The ranch is very important to him and he wants to see it as a retreat center where people can come to heal.  He has all intentions of keeping it in the family when his daddy dies and hopes it will remain in the family for generations.

Although Johnny never liked to hunt or fish, and sports weren’t his thing, him being a musician and singer was very supported by Bobby.  He has always supported Johnny, but he feels Johnny didn’t push hard enough to ‘make it’.  Johnny and him argue about it all the time and Johnny sometimes feels like a failure because of his father’s judgement.

In lieu of giving up music, Johnny has decided to pursue real estate recently and although Bobby is disappointed he is ‘giving up’ on his music, the timing has worked out well because Bobby fell out of his tree stand last year while hunting and broke a hip and several bones.  It’s taken a long time to heal and he hasn’t been able to manage the ranch so Johnny taking over has been a huge help.

Dr. Sissy Orchid
Dr. of Plant Toxicology
Played by Tiffany Slater

Sissy Orchid (previously known as Sissy Green) is a doctor of botanics and plant toxicology. She is Johnny’s older sister and the daughter of Bobby Green.

Sissy loves studying the land at the ranch and is convinced there are some rare species worth a lot of money on the land and she has secretly been studying them in her lab. She has kept this secret but it is very important to her that the land remains in their family for this reason. Will Sissy be able to keep it in the family or lose it forever? And will she do whatever it takes to make sure this sacred land isn’t stolen from her?

Sissy does not like Ms. Peacock at all and believes that she is out for one thing - their family inheritance. She begs her daddy to promise her that he won’t marry Ms. Peacock. In return, he makes Sissy make a promise; but one that she doesn’t understand. Plum has been a friend to her their entire lives, and she is starting to consider taking it to the next level. Her daddy is not supportive and she doesn’t understand why.

MRS. SPARKLE-MAY PEACOCK
Spa Owner and Lingerie Designer
Played by Cheryl Morgan

With a very interesting a sordid past, Ms. Sparkle Peacock is a lady on a mission. She’s lived a tough life that very few know about because on the outside she appears strong and is a savvy business woman. She simply smiles and men seem to fall in love with her. She can pretty much have any man she wants.  She’s been married several times but they’ve all died. She’s intent on getting Bobby Green to ask her to marry him.

Ms Peacock’s newest investment is a Spa in town and she has discovered a very underground clientele in the Bible belt; preachers wives! That’s right. They come to her at the spa for massages, manis and pedi’s all while buying lingerie in secret since they can’t go into Victoria Secret without feeling judged if seen by those who know they are preachers wives. Miss Peacock even bought the website domain www.preacherswifelingerie.com and is having huge success with online commerce.

Miss Peacock loves Yoga and all things Spiritual. She is very woo woo and believes the Universe brought her and Bobby together.  She would love to see the ranch become a retreat center where she can offer her spa services.  Johnny and her share this vision.  She and Johnny met several years ago doing Yoga and connected. She was a fun, spiritual, woo woo kind of lady and Johnny really liked hanging out with her.  He had just begun his shamanic journey studying under a shaman from the Amazon.  There was never a romantic interest between the two, but they occasionally got together for coffee or tea after a yoga class.  Johnny introduced his daddy to Peacock by booking a massage for him at her spa during his recovery from a deer stand accident. Let’s just say, his father got his ‘happy ending’.

PROFESSOR BUDDY PLUM
Professor of Music
Played by Ben Slater

Professor Buddy Plum has been a part of the Green family since anyone can remember. Bobby Green and Plum’s daddy, Mr. Wesley Plum, were best friends and played football together while attending Montgomery Bell School for Boys and had remained best friends over their adult life.

Johnny and Buddy grew up together and have also been best friends for years.  Both of Buddy’s parents, the Plum’s, have passed and Buddy Plum is now a professor at Vanderbilt University at the Blaire School of Music. He inherited his parents home and still lives closeby. He drinks a little heavy and has battled addiction, but he has been doing better since learning about CBD and THC from Dr. Sissy Orchid. He prefers plant based drinks over alcohol and they calm him rather than make him angry.

He’s been like a brother to Johnny and Sissy; however, recently, Sissy and he have been spending more time together and it seems they may BOTH be interested in exploring more than friendship. Buddy Plum has been Johnny Green’s best friend for almost 5 decades so he wonders how this may affect their friendship, and is trying to figure out if it’s worth ruining this relationship he’s had his entire life with the siblings?  Will Johnny be happy for them and support this?  Or will he resent them?

What to expect at a ROCKABILLY Clue murder mystery event
ROCKIN AND ROLLIN Murder, Mystery and Mayhem!

The Event….

It all begins the moment you arrive at the ranch -- Greeted at the barn doors, you become part of the event as a party goer. Doors open at 5:30PM (no sooner) and we expect to end around 8:30PM.

You are there as a guest of Elvis Green and Sparkle-May Peacock to attend their ‘Engagement Bash’ at GratiDude Ranch. Our cast of characters will transport you into another time - of murder - easing you into the story with improv and mischief.

This is an interactive evening that is played out during your three course meal. It is your job to become a sleuth (and potentially accomplice) as you meet and interact with everyone throughout the evening, interrogating them as they come by your table to catch up with you, and remember the good times.

You should note that the cast can't lie. They may be evasive or try to misdirect you. I mean, a murderer doesn’t come out and TELL you they murdered someone! It’s not that easy. They may even be trying to protect someone else or they may be trying to avoid incriminating themselves. They will also have some gossip to share with you which may (or may not!) help you solve the mystery. At the end of the event all guests will complete an accusation form prior to the big reveal!

What about Seating…

The event takes place under our event barn and is OPEN SEATING. If you want to sit with anyone else who also bought tickets we suggest you arrive plenty early to make sure ya’ll are seated at the same table.

The event is designed for optimal viewing from any area you’re sitting in. Our motto is ‘watch yer back!’ cause you never know who might be sneakin’ up behind ya!. The characters work between, throughout (and sometimes on top of) the tables, using the entire barn as the stage.

What to Wear…

You may be wondering what you should wear. You're headed to a Rockabilly party out in the country so we suggest you dress in Rockabilly Fashion. If you need help with that, use The Google! There are lots of great ideas. Costumes are not required, however, we do encourage it as it can help you get into the spirit of the game.

The event also takes place in a covered barn which will not be effected by rain, however, please note it is outdoors so take the temperature into consideration when determining what you will wear. If it’s warm, dress light and if it is getting chilly at night bring a jacket or blanket. Keep in mind ladies - spiked heels on a ranch don't work too well but you can always go barefoot until you get to the barn.

What Else…

The most important thing to expect is to HAVE FUN! Be silly! Play pretend! Just have a good ole time!
